Summer Camp

REGISTER
The Jack Purcell Recreation Association offers camps throughout the year for ages 5-12 that will not disappoint! Program activities are typically offered each day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please provide lunch, snacks, indoors shoes and other necessities. Please note we are a nut-free program.

july 4 - august 26, 2022

Registration open February 7th @ 12:00 p.m.
Please note that we do not know what the pandemic situation will be like in the summer; everything is subject to change. Our maximum enrollment per week at this time is 20 children; we suggest reserving your spot ASAP. If the week is full please add your child to the waitlist, more space could open up closer to the start of camp.

Price: $265.00/ week ; $245/ week (4-day holiday weeks)
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 - 12

Children must bring their own lunch and other items such as masks, water bottles, sunscreen and swimsuits to the camp. We will be doing a combination of outdoor and indoor activities, swimming in either the Jack Purcell pool or the St. Luke’s Park pool (maybe both!), and potentially going on local, outdoor trips. Activities at the camp will largely depend on the state of the pandemic.

COVID Safety Information

All participants will be required to wear a mask, both indoors and outdoors. We will be doing health screenings prior to the kids entering our facility, and taking their temperatures once they are at the camp. Our staff is diligent in cleaning/disinfecting the camp space and making sure kids are hand washing/sanitizing as often as possible. .

All staff have been working diligently throughout the pandemic so we are aware of all COVID-19 protocols and enforce them without doubt. Staff will be wearing masks and eye protection when indoors. High touch surfaces are cleaned multiple times a day, and any toys/equipment used are sanitized daily. Play structures in the playground will be sanitized by staff before every use.

Registration
If you would like to register your child(ren), you have multiple options:
  1.  Online registration
  2. Registration at the front desk.

Allergies
We require children with life threatening allergies to be sent to ASP with (1) EpiPen and that parents provide us with a second EpiPen that we will keep on site. We also require parents to fill out this Food and Allergy Care Plan Form and send to: childrenandyouth@jpra.ca

Refunds will be subject to the discretion of the staff, please refrain from blanket booking weeks and cancelling shortly before the camp.

There is a non-refundable fee for booking online.
