Food and Allergies

When packing lunches or snacks, please note that they must be nut-free. 

We require children with life threatening allergies to be sent to ASP with at least one EpiPen in their backpack. We also require parents to fill out this Food and Allergy Care Plan Form and send to: andrew@jpra.ca

Parent Issues and Concerns

The Jack Purcell Recreation Association supports and models positive and responsive interactions among the children, parents/guardians, and staff, and fosters the engagement of and ongoing communication with parents/guardians about the program and their children. All issues and concerns raised by parents/guardians are taken seriously by the Jack Purcell Recreation Association and will be addressed. Every effort will be made to address and resolve issues and concerns to the satisfaction of all parties and as quickly as possible. Any problems and issues can be brought to the attention of Andrew, either in-person or via email at andrew@jpra.ca.

Subsidies

The Jack Purcell Recreation Association offers a limited number of subsidies to those living in Centretown. You can apply for a subsidy for any of our programs. Request a Subsidy Application Form by email, or download and fill out the form and send by email to andrew@jpra.ca. 
  • Subsidies are awarded per full fiscal year from January to December​.
  • Our subsidy program covers 50% of child care or child programming costs.

Tax Reciepts

If you have an online account with us you can access your childcare tax receipt at your convenience. 

​If you do not have an online account and are not a current ASP parent, please email: andrew@jpra.ca. Included in your email: your name, your child(ren)'s names and the name of any other payer on the account you may require (i.e. spouse or partner).
