The Jack Purcell Recreation Association (JPRA) is a not-for-profit, incorporated organisation that offers recreational programs in partnership with the Jack Purcell Community Centre. Through the Community Centre, JPRA delivers recreational programs and leisure activities for adults, youth and children living in Centretown.
The Jack Purcell Community Centre (JPCC) itself is owned and operated by the City of Ottawa. The Centre has an 18 metre warm water pool, a fully accessible weight room, five meeting rooms of various sizes, and access to the Elgin Street Public School gym. The Centre also operates Jack Purcell and St. Luke's Parks, as well as the tennis courts in both parks. The City of Ottawa offers swimming lessons, activities for seniors, and programming for people with special needs. Our vision: A vibrant and healthy Centretown for all! Our mission: Connecting with our community to create and deliver high-quality, affordable recreation and leisure activities. all |
