Outdoor Fitness - St Luke's Park Fitness Structure
In collaboration with Kazam Gymnastics, the Jack Purcell Recreation Association will host outdoor fitness classes at St. Luke's Park. The classes will focus on bodyweight fitness, circuit training, resistance training, and plyometrics. The program will help participants build strength, agility, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Participants will perform exercises such as lunges, squats, jumps, push ups, dips, pull ups, rows and planks. These will improve upper body and lower body strength and will eventually translate to learning other skills such as handstands, cartwheels, and swings on the bars.
Adults of all fitness levels are welcome!
Dates: Sundays: June 11 - July 16 (6 weeks)
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. (includes warm-up)
