Hip Hop Dance
Hip Hop Dance class (ages 8-11)
Do you find yourself always grooving to whatever song comes on the radio? Then Hip Hop is the perfect style for you! Hip hop is an energetic style that allows the dancer to use their own creative process. We will learn to use isolations, popping, and grooves throughout the dance season.
About the instructor
Abby has been dancing since the age of 3 at the Grand River Dance Academy. Over the past 14 years she has trained in all genres of dance and has competed in various levels. These competitions have demonstrated both Abby’s skill and creativity and have resulted in various awards. In addition, she won the GRDA Rising Star Scholarship in 2018 and was named the Captain of the Competitive Team in 2019.
Abby believes in creating a supportive and kind environment for her students, as well as creating a comforting environment for her students to grow and learn. She has a true love of dancing and looks forward to sharing that love with her students.
